お待たせしましたインタビュー第4弾！今回は音楽専攻のシン君にお話を聞いてきました。彼はサックスを演奏するそうです！かっちょいい！
1日の様子
彼は大体、毎朝8時から10時に起きて、大学がある日は授業に出席します。授業後は毎日2～3時間サックスの練習をするそうです。また、週に3日ピアノのレッスンもあるそうです。なかなか多忙ですね。授業がない休みの日はというと、友達とafternoon tea (アフタヌーンティー)を飲みながらゆっくり過ごすそうです。音楽専攻の生徒は言うこともかっこいいですね。
SNSについて
彼は、香港で使われているほぼ全てのSNSでアカウントをもっていました。もちろん使用頻度には差はあります。彼が一番使うのが、WhatsApp、その次がInstagram、（Snapchatはは周りがあまり利用していないのでInstagramにほぼ絞っているようです）そしてFacebookの順番だそうです。
WhatsAppは連絡用、Instagramは主に友人の私生活をブラウジングするため。Facebookは大学の授業でグループワークの時によくグループを作って利用するのだとか。
どのプラットフォームも持ってはいるものの、ブラウジングや連絡が主な目的で、自主的にポストはしていないそうです。というのも友達が増えてくると一回ごとの投稿にプレッシャーを感じるようになってしまったからだそうです。そんな彼でも時間が経てば消えるインスタグラムのストーリーはよく投稿するそうです（笑）
ボイスメッセージは神
香港では街中どこでも音声メッセージを送ってますが、彼もボイスメッセージマスター！
彼が言う事には、音声メッセージを使用することが多い理由は、タイピングより早い、そして香港人のlaziness（怠惰）を理由に挙げています。香港人は便利なものには目がないようです（笑）
今更？？パズドラ大好き
彼は暇さえあれば一時期日本でもめちゃくちゃ流行ったパズドラをプレイして遊んでいるのだとか。レアなモンスターを捕まえに見知らぬプレーヤーとオンラインで協力してゲームを楽しんでいるそう。日本ではもう終わっちゃったゲームですが、日本のゲームがまだ愛されているのは嬉しい限りですね。（僕の周りの日本人は今や誰もプレイしていません！汗）
音楽専攻必須アプリ
彼がサックスの練習などに使用しているのが、有料アプリのiReal Pro（HK＄98）。ジャズやクラシックミュージックの練習用に、練習したい楽器に合わせて伴奏を流すことができるので🎷の練習をするのに重宝しているそうです。
また、彼は本物を買うには少し高いから、質の良いメトロノーム（テンポを図るために使うもの）アプリが欲しいそうです。
今後も彼の音楽人生を応援していきたいと思います。

Hello everyone! This will be the fourth interview! This time, I interviewed Shing, who is a music-major university student. He can play the saxophone. Sounds really cool!
His day
He usually starts his day from 8 to 10 in the morning. Practising the saxophone for a few hours after the class is his habit on weekdays. Besides the saxophone practice, he is also taking a piano lesson three times a week. Such a busy school life. But on weekends, he usually enjoys an elegant time, having “afternoon tea” with his friends. Again, he is cool! right?
SNS Usage
Currently, he is using almost all the SNSs that are commonly used in Hong Kong. However, obviously, he is not using all these SNSs equally. What he uses the most in his everyday life is WhatsApp, followed by Instagram ( he prefer to use Instagram even though he has a Snapchat account as well because his friends are not using Snapchat so much), and Facebook comes the third.
He uses WhatsApp mainly for chatting with friends, Instagram for browsing his friends’ daily life, and Facebook for organizing groups for his class work.
Even though he owns various types of SNS accounts, his main usage is limited to communicating with his friends rather than posting everyday life of himself. He answered that this is because he started to feel pressure as he gained more and more friends. However, the funny part is that he often posts the story of the Instagram because his post can only be seen for 24 hours, and thus feel less pressured.
Loving voice message!
Sending voice message is quite common in Hong Kong, and since Shing himself use it very often, he is called a “voice message master”.
According to him, the reason behind this preference towards voice message is probably because of the usefulness of the voice message, and the laziness of the Hong Kong local people. It seems that Hong Kong people would likely be attracted to something convenient and efficient. Haha
His enthusiasm towards an already outdated Japanese game
Other than attending class, practising the saxophone, and studying, he told me that he spends so many times playing Puzzle and Dragons, which is called “Pazudora” in Japan and used to be a very common online game. He enjoys cooperating with friends online to capture the rare monsters in the game. I was so glad to hear that Japanese game is also popular in Hong Kong, although the boom has already ended in Japan. (at least, I don’t have a friend who is still playing it any more)
App used by music major students
When he practices the saxophone, he uses an application called iReal Pro, which requires HK＄98 to download by the way. This app offers a variety of background music based on what instrument you want to play, so he is using it every time he practices the saxophone, to get the most out of it. Furthermore, now he is seeking for an app that can function as a real metronome (device producing audio click) since the real metronome is usually costly.
Because I became a big fan of him, I would like to keep cheering on him!
